The Piece

Captured
in Glass

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano houses one of the great engines in automotive history — a 6.0 litre naturally aspirated V12, engineered at Maranello, producing 620 horsepower in a form Ferrari's own engineers called the finest road car engine they had ever built.

Il Trofeo 599 takes that engine and reframes it entirely. No longer driving a car at 200 miles per hour. Now the absolute centrepiece of a room — under 12mm of optically clear glass, mounted on solid American walnut, finished to a standard the factory never envisaged.

This piece was created to commission for a private collector. It is no longer available. What is available is the capability that produced it.

"This is not a car part displayed on a shelf. It is a 100-kilogram statement that you do not compromise."

Specification

Every Detail
Considered

The Engine
A genuine Ferrari 599 GTB V12 — 6.0 litres, 12 cylinders. Sonic cleaned and detailed throughout. Every fastener replaced with stainless steel. The inlet manifold resprayed in original Ferrari wrinkle paint.
The Glass
12mm low iron ultra-clear toughened glass, 2000 × 1200mm with 25mm radius corners. Optically pure — no green tint. Precision-cut with a recess to sit flush over the engine block.
The Exhaust System
Bespoke stainless steel exhaust manifolds designed and fabricated specifically for this commission. Mirror-polished to showroom standard. An original design, built in-house — not a replica of any production part.
The Base
CNC machined from solid American walnut and lacquered. Precision-fitted to the engine block. Warm, rich, and permanent — a material contrast designed to elevate both the wood and the metal above it.
The Posts
Aluminium and stainless steel structural cores wrapped in real carbon fibre sleeves. Engineered to carry 12mm glass over a 100kg engine block. Functional, minimal, correct.
The Ferrari End Plate
Laser-cut Ferrari shield, mirror-polished stainless steel on red background. The signature of the marque — made permanent, made art. Positioned within the base to be visible through the glass.

Commission
FAQs

Il Trofeo 599 was created as a one-of-one private commission and is no longer available. However, we accept commissions for pieces of similar or entirely different ambition. Use the enquiry form above to begin a conversation.
Commission pricing is provided individually, as every piece is designed to specification. We will outline all costs in a written proposal before any commitment is required. There is no charge for the enquiry or proposal stage.
We begin with a consultation to understand your vision — the car, the form, the environment it will live in. We then produce a written proposal covering design, materials, timeline, and pricing. Once agreed, the build begins. Build time for a piece of this scale is typically 100+ hours, followed by white-glove delivery and installation.
We specialise in prestige and exotic automotive hardware — Ferrari, Formula 1, and other high-performance engines and components. We source parts where needed and advise on feasibility and presentation during the initial consultation.
We work across forms — coffee tables, display sculptures, speaker systems, wall art, and showroom installations. If you have a concept, we will tell you whether it is achievable and how we would approach it.
